Just this week a powerful video smuggled out of Tibet, and aired on Voice of America, shows a group of monks in Amdo's Malho prefecture defiantly walking – some running – through the town of Ba Thunte, waving homemade Tibetan flags and making the classic Tibetan warrior cry, 'Kyi Hi Hi.'
These brave monks, many of whom may have been arrested by now, are the nonviolent warriors at the forefront of Tibet's epic battle for freedom.
